Snack time is all about getting cozy—and nothing says cozy like a warm blanket. That’s why pigs in a blanket are such a go-to. But what if we gave that classic an upgrade, swapping in a leaner, juicier protein and a slightly more elevated wrap? Enter our take: Chicks in a Quilt.

Made with Classic Roasted Chicken Sausage and crescent roll dough, these bite-sized snacks come together with almost no effort. Just roll, wrap, brush with egg wash, and bake. Add a quick maple-Dijon sauce, and you’ve got an easy appetizer that works just as well for brunch as it does for parties or holiday spreads.

Even better? They’re freezer-friendly, so you can prep ahead and bake straight from frozen when you need them most.

Pro tip: Once you’ve mastered these (which won’t take long), try our chewy pretzel bites—they’re just as easy and perfect with a creamy beer cheese dip.

1
Preheat the oven to 375℉. Cut each Classic Roasted Chicken sausage into thirds.

4
Make the sauce: While those chickies cook, mix the Dijon mustard, mayo, and maple syrup together in a bowl.
5
Serve warm with a side of sauce, morning, noon, or night.
